Coronavirus Covid-19 Update

Dear Valued Customer

Due to the most recent Government advice, that of NHS England and the College of Podiatry, it is with much regret that we are having to close our doors for a further period of 3 weeks (currently up to and including Saturday 9th May). This will be reviewed regularly and, as soon as we are able to, we will open our doors.

Our Physiotherapy appointments will also resume from the 11th May.

Telephone enquiries will be answered and supported.

Provision will be made for emergencies such as Diabetic patients with at risk feet (i.e. history of previous ulceration / amputation), any patient with infected ingrowing toenails.

At our clinic, the health and wellbeing of our patients and our team are our top priority and we want to reassure you of the diligence of our approach.

Clinical Guidance during Covid-19

As a result of COVID-19 the NHS system will be under significant strain. Podiatrists are key to the successful management of foot & lower limb pathology that will help avoid unnecessary visits to acute hospitals and in some cases admissions.

Supporting the management of high-risk foot patients, to help avoid complications such as ulceration and specifically infection is essential.

With this in mind, we would advise the following:

All routine and non-urgent treatments and assessments should be delayed until further notice for patients with low risk feet. We are happy to offer remote consultation in thew interim.

Patients with high risk feet or urgent need will still be treated at the clinic especially if they are at risk of breakdown or infection.

If you are a patient who requires urgent Podiatry treatment but has or is suspected of having Covid-19, we may not currently treat you in Private Practice and you are advised to call 111.

We are, of course, here for you and can provide telephone advice if you require.

Please call us on 023 8081 4903.

Please leave a voicemail message if we are unable to answer your call immediately and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding at this very difficult time for everyone.
